i think this film was shot a year ago and not in the 50's...

Well, David Nixon and Robert Harbin both died in 1978, so it's not last year. In fact it's 1968 when Earl Mountbatten attended the Magic Circle Gala Show. (He's the guy getting out of the white car about 6:40)
