@megakillerx Under Austrian occupation/control, the Muslims of Bosnia and Sandzak (region straddling Montenegro and Serbia) were propped up and heavily funded by them to use them as a thorn in the side of Serbs - no sooner did the Ottoman Empire/Turks recede, than the west/Catholics started boosting the Muslims. And the Muslim soldiers were under control of the occupying Austrians. And the Archduke was going to inspect Austrian military maneuvers on the border with Serbia. A set-up war brewing.

@megakillerx Serbs used to be the largest of the three constituent peoples of Bosnia (Serbs, Muslim/Bosniaks, & Croats) until around WWII. The Austrian census' in the late 1800's had Serbs in the 40-something percent of Bosnia, while Muslims were 30-something percent. Those were reversed by the census of 1991 (just before the Bosnian war). The Serbs emigrated out for work and were slaughtered during WWI by the Austrians, Croats, Muslims, Germans, Hungarians & again in WWII.

@DragonHeart19831 True, i´ve never lived in the balkans but i have read HISTORY of the balkans. After all the balkan states became independent from the Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary and Russia tried to influence the balkan island in order to prevent further independence in their own lands. And as all serbs are greedy fucks you wanted moar land in todays Bosnia to form a new Serbian Empire as later would become "Yugoslavia" that´s right. The shit country that barely lasted a century.
