If you cannot see a traffic light effectively enough to cross the street, because it's too far away, you can use a monocular to get a better look. This video explains how the monocular works, where you could get one, and who would use it.

  • @suzlbar Does it have the same focal range and lens type? I have a secondary moncular from Vivitar that's cheap, but it's fixed focus.

  • Hey man, how is your social life now that you have this disease, do you still hang out with those friends that you played gamecube with back in the day?

  • @XTCMatrix I've had it my whole life, and yeah usually twice a year given that our schedules are so busy.

  • Hmm, well I seem ot be one of the people that you are describing in this video. My vision, while extremely unstable... at certain times I can see a display in a shop (as an example) with the use of a monocular. Mine? Is probably a middle end price range. Around $80-100. It's a 10x50 . Which for right now? Is fine. Thank again for the informative and interesting video, Keep-Em Coming! :)

  • Great info man... I am looking for a monocular for my EDC system. Keep those videos coming.

  • Interesting. I have good vision and work in a train yard. Much like the bus numbers you couldn't rad I need to accurately read the numbers of the train cars at distance so I'm not waling all over wasting time / energy. The monocular will soon resolve a lot of these issues and much more compact than binoculars.

  • Excellent!!! Great presentation - & very worthwhile! I'm low vision & though am looking for monocular with close focus (to read grocery shelves), your review was very helpful. You are great!!!
