I would like to add that none of the innocent reisdents can get any packages delivered because UPS will not cross there "picket lines" the people here are innocient and should not suffer because the union thugs want to take more money out of the pockets of people who live here in rent controlled low income buildings. We are hundreds of hard working americans that are suffering for 8 months now.

@daytonbeach911 Your agenda is clear, you aren't fooling anyone! Deleting comments? Blocking shareholders? Blocking SEIU Non-Supporters? Who try to state their side of the story?
People do not appreciate being commandeered, coerced or censored. We are the people, and we don't appreciate being dictated by hypocrites.
We will have democracy. We will take the time we need to decide what is just and fair for the people, not what you hypocrites think we should do and would profit from.

and finally, you realize that both the letters you posted, Kevin Grant and Mary Kilkeary are fictitious. neither of them are shareholders at Dayton Beach. Your SEIU link is very eye opening. I will look at it further. My concern only lies with the 24 men on the picket line and the nefarious goings on by management and the board. Thank you for the union links.

@seagull211 Your concern is absolutely justified. Unfortunately, the men on the picket line are between a rock and a hard place. They are stuck in the middle between a corrupt SEIU union and a mgmt/board who is trying to do right by their tenants.

there are security cameras ALL over Dayton property, in the presidents car and outside her door. Who slashed tires and vandalized anything? Anyone can say that, but NO ONE EVER saw any of these incidence. Why weren't the police called? Can I direct you to the video where the prez is blaming a broken window, of a car parked directly under her own balcony, on a s/h who was not even home at the time. that IS intimidation.

@seagull211 You speak as though you DONT live in Dayton Beach. Cameras DO NOT cover hall ways or stairs. Throwing eggs on the floors where board members live? Crazy gluing locks so they can't get home? Slashing tires in the middle of the night? This is not "things" being said to win point with the crowd, these are facts and have been documented with the police.
I saw the video, yes it was bazaar! Lets see how you'd react if every single day something was being broken, stolen, thrown in ur face.

They went to the table many times to negotiate with the $650.00 an hour attorney the president hired to replace the RAB. The last time was in June, when the men agreed to the demands of the president. And when they did finally agree, she pulled the offer off the table and said they needed to agree to no raise for FOUR years and a reduction in staff. There was NEVER any good faith on the side of the president.

@seagull211 I think there is a big difference between "fair" and greed. In this economy, everyone should be happy to have a job. Families of Dayton Beach can not afford to pay out of their own pockets for increases for select few and their union bosses. According to salary figures previously released, the workers were being paid above industry standard. The problem is that a huge chunk of it was being "stolen" in membership dues by their own bosses. Are Dayton Beach families to blame for that?
