I am not sure if this is normal, but sometimes the realization of impermanence brings about negative feelings in me, such as a feeling that everything I do is pointless so why bother. does anyone else experience this?

KARMA is Sanskrit and means 'action' - 'doing'.

So the next fleeting, impermanent moment depends on our action in this fleeting, impermanent moment.

If this moment would be permanent - and everything within it - it wouldn't matter what we do - because it would not make a difference

@blackcrane09 I have and still sometimes experience the exact same thing. I sometimes find it hard to make decisions or to get passionately motivated about life for example which career path to take when in the end it doesn't really matter. Impermanence can have a negative effect or it can really make you appreciate life more it's all about how you perceive it. It's good to know im not the only one that struggles with the idea. :)

Everyone knows impermanence when its time to get more milk or the kids have outgrown their clothes and stuff like that.

"Every moment is impermanent." So true. But, even with all this talk o impermanence there's still talk of "reincarnation" in another format, that still IMPLIES lmmortality.On a deeper level "reincarnation" is just a metaphor for change itself, like the various realms, such as hungry ghosts,pretas, devas etc are metaphorical for REAL WORLD STATES Of BEING, psychological states even.

Hungry ghosts are metphor for greedy people and so on.

Most precious Tai Situ Rinpoche more videos will very beneficial for man sentient beings your teaching in English is one of the best i find it and technology is here to help it's even better then ever. When we look at Rinpoche's video Rinpoche look same as 15 year or more ago i think that is the answer what Dharma practice is ....
