The buck knives alpha dorado is a very nice small harpoon pointed knife that's very pleasing to the eye in my opinion. It's a folding linerlock that is heat treated by Paul Bos in 154CM steel. I succeeded in keeping it just under 10 minutes this time (at 102% speed though and some good old editing :) )

In this video I'm doing an extensive review and will be talking about the next points:
- review reasons
- my dirty hands ;)
- the leather sheath
- size
- shape of the blade
- umnumzaan comparison for size and shape
- handle scales
- thumbstuds
- steel and heat treat
- lanyard hole
- the slabs of metal
- choil
- pivot
- liner lock
- jimping
- liner lock sticking out
- weight
- my usage
- appearance
- size reference with buck 110
- close up look on the knife
- other steel types

  • I've owned this knife for about 5 years now and I think it's a work of art. I recently remove the scales and polished the metal. I did find some time ago and found it to be too heavy and a bit too thick and heavy for EDC, though. I keep it on my desk at home just to admire it.

  • @ansdguy It is somewhat thick, but for me, this is offset by the fact it does not have a pocket clip, it's loose in my pocket whenever I have it on me. It is a beauty right :)

  • I've been considering my options for a new knife. I thought about the TOPS/BUCK CSAR-T Responder, but it's a monster for everyday carry and NOBODY has a review for it.

Thanks a lot for the review on the aplha dorado. I really like the grip being larger than the ones on most blades that size. I'll probably buy one sometime this year.

  • @Machfifteen I'm checking out the buck hoodlum, talking about a monster lol.

  • I changed my mind because I got hung up on the fixed blade brother to it!! Alpha hunter I got that, it should be here tomorrow! Thankyou

  • @ryanrrx cool! I have the alpha folding hunter, it's a beast of a folder and I like the blade shape, different than the fixed blade anyway. Bucks are great! enjoy it buddy
