Trying out two POV cameras. The Gopro Hero on the left, and the new Liquid Image Summit series goggles on the right. Both shot in 720, 30p. Audio is fro the goggle cam. Rendered as wmv at 1080, 30p. Visit www.trax2treadz.com for purchasing info on the goggle cam.
would be interesting to see them both from the helmet. put the go pro on the helmet as well and then do a comparison.

@bengzit It could be the contrast between the two. My GoPro does fantastic in bright light as well. The Liquid image shoots extremely bright white footage.

Only problem with the liquid image is it looks really weird on goggle and I would rather have my oakleys than those goggles

I know the go pro is much brighter than that on mine in the snow and when I hunt with it here in alaska

The audio is from the goggles, the Gopro audio tends to be quite muffled bacause of the waterproof casing. I wouldn't recomend using the goggles in a very wet environment, as the battery compartment does not have a real tight seal. The Gopro also shoots in 1080, but I used the same settings as the goggle cam. Checkout my other YouTube page for Countour, GoPro, Liquid Image and Drift HD videos, all shot in HD on snow. Thanks! is the liquid image cam water proof??

Side by side I would take the GoPro for quality of picture. I'm sure the brightness can be worked out. The resolutions doesn't seem as good on the Liquid. Can't tell which of the two the sound is coming from, but it sounds good.
