A poem of praise for the Commander of Believers, Imam Ali, recited by Sheikh Hussain Akraf.

In the words of Rumi': "In bravery you are the Lion of the Lord, In generosity who indeed knows who you are?"

That munificence, benevolence and beneficence - if Ali had had all these,
which he did have, but had not had the divine touch in him, it is quite certain
that there would not have been the feeling of sympathy and awakening of
love that there is today.

Ali is loved in the sense that he had the divine link;
our hearts are unconsciously completely involved with, and connected
to, the Truth, right in their depths, and since they find Ali to be a great sign
of the Truth and a manifestation of the attributes of the Truth they are
in love with him. In reality, the basis for the love for Ali is the connection
of our souls with the Truth which has been laid in our primordial natures, and
since our primordial natures are eternal, love for Ali; is also eternal.

There are many outstanding features in Ali's being, but that which has
assigned him a resplendent and shining place for ever is his faith and
morality, and it is that which has given him his divine charisma.

  • o muslims this is wrong

i respect ali radyah alaho anho

but we cant say he is better than the prophet Muhammed !

  • Who said Ali is better than the Prophet?

  • the first verse

he says ali radya alah anho is the purest of men

  • No it doesn't.

    It says:

"I asked the purest of men about the air they breathe in, I stood spellbound when I saw them breathing out (with the love) of Ali".

A point here is that it is said 'purest of men' which is plural, not 'purest of man', which is singular.

No where is it said Ali is the purest man.

Please read the English carefully before jumping to conclusions.

    In need of your Duas.

  • there is no such thing as "purest of man"..it has no meaning

dont ever think that iam disrespecting Imam Al motaween saydna Ali..

i mean that the prophets and messengers are better than the companion..

anyways sorry if were offende,i just meant dont over praise people you mught worship him someday

  • The statement 'purest of man' would refer to none other than the Holy Prophet, as he is the greatest, the most pure and exalted of all creation.

I fail to see how you claim we are raising the status of Ali from the line "I asked the purest of men...".

You say this poem says Ali is the purest man, when actually it doesn't. All I ask you to do is read the poem again and pay attention to the English before jumping to conclusions.

    May Allah bless you.

  • Muhibb at-Tabari narrates from `A'ishah that she said: "I saw my father (Abu Bakr) gazing often at 'Ali's face. I said: `O my father! I see you gazing often at `Ali's face.' He said: '0 my daughter! I heard the Prophet say: "Looking at the face of 'Ali is worship."

  • @Quran1Sunna2

Shirk on what? Poetic words are as they imply: poetic. Meaning that there are metaphors, oxymorons, allegories and other things that can't be explained by everything that is obvious at the first glance.

This is the language of the hearts. Language of the Love.

    With prayers,

  • SHIRK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THE HORIZON DOES NOT TALK ABOUT ALI IT TALKS ABOUT ALLAH, NO???

  • Salaam all

MashaAllah MashaAllah this is soooo beautiful, may Allah (swt) bless you for uploading

'Haq is with Ali (as) and Ali (as) is with Haq - The Holy Prophet (saw)
