I took the original mp3 for the recording of the Edison Doll and cleaned it up.
- iZotope RX noise reduction (pops and denoise)
- Logic exciter and compressor
- more iZotope RX noise reduction (denoise)

  • That's the problem ! Surface noise and lo-fi or no-fi are factors. The earliest recordings were full of surface roar (surface not mirror-smooth from the start, surface further corroded by acids in skin oils in handling, wear from repeated play)

  • People don't understand what she is saying because there is WAY too much noise reduction on the restoration. Its far too artifacty.

  • Its interesting, the mankind took less than 100 years from lift the first plane to reach the moon. But it took more than 100 years to achieve the HQ Audio.
