the reason is you wont be able to tell if they are having problems from fever as its impossible to tell the difference by looking if someone is sleeping or has become unconsciouss.
sweating is a sign of dehydration in my opinion and also happens during excerise for the same reason it happens in fever, due to a high accelerated heartrate proven by taking a patients pulse during fever, it will be either incredibly high at low fever or slow and irregular at danger level fever.make sure patients dont sleep during a fever, let them sleep after it has passed so you can monitor thier alertness levels (unless theyve been awake for 18 hours) .
incidently if you check the temperature of fever is direct with the temeperature that water evaporates. I believe your seeing water on your skin as the water content in your blood evaporates its turned into gas wich hits your skin and is converted back into water, the same effect is seen in a hot shower as steam hits the glass and is converted back into water.
i reccomend feeding your patients bland foods, top ramen noodles without the spicey packets and unsalted crackers, it will help reduce acid levels in the stomach as well as help the immune system.
check your patients hearate docs when they have fevers, youll be suprised.fever isnt the result of fighting the infection, its attempting to reduce blood levels wich also help kill the infection.
patients die from flu from a variety of causes or viral outbreaks, i believe also as your bodyheat rises the amount of calories you burn also increase making the need to eat and drink mandatory during fever, esp drinking water if you end up sweating.
the body fights infection yes through heat and evaporating the blood supply (and infection) but this can be dangerous if prolonged.Your heart is responsible for bodyheat levels, fast heartrate=high body temp, low heartrate=low body temperature, low body temperatures occur during sleep.
the increase of blood supply being the virus registering as blood increase.you can eleviate fever symptoms by first proving this by simply introducing a mild sedative to the patient.
sweat during fever I believe can be benifitial and fatal, its a sign of dehydration and I believe sweat=blood loss. your looking at the effects of temperature evaporating the water content out of the blood, proven if you weigh your patients and patients dying have lost about the range of 5 pints of blood, thats fatal
Actually an accelerated heartrate is what causes a fever, proven simply by monitoring your patients heartrate suffering from fever. during and right before you will see your patients heartrate increase to dangerous levels.
this same thing happens during excersize, proven by taking a thermometer to an excersize bike and inducing a sweat, your inducing a mild fever when you excersize.
Your high heartrate i believe is a result at the increase of blood supply causing the heart to pump harder/faster.
