more at http://theuptake.org U of MN Professor John Logie interprets the meaning behind exit poll metrics for both Republicans and Democrats. E.g. are there no black Republicans in Florida? Prof. Logie also comments on the Clinton strategy of trying to seat Florida delegates at the DNC.

  • Radical Islam a threat? Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there. We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years. We need a non-intervention based foreign policy. We need to stop policing the world and expect positive outcomes and credibility. You served with NATO? NATO is a relic of the Cold War, a hold-over from another time, an anachronism. It should be disbanded, the sooner the better.

  • Lloyd Marcus (black) unhyphenated American wrote the American Tea Party Anthem, & 2010 Take Back America and he is a proud black conservative Florida registered republican that votes.

  • Krystal Walker proud young black republican HERE lol

  • This is the truth.

However the 60s changed things, and all of the pro segregation people switched from Democrats to Republican. Between Nixon and Reagan Black people were totally alienated from the GOP.

The current GOP makes weak efforts to bring in Black people. Unless you count Michael Steele's "I got the fried chicken and potato salad" comment, which was embarrassing.

Until Black Republicans aren't seen as impotent by Black people, Black people won't vote Republican.

  • Im black, moved to florida in 2005, and I am a proud republican. Thank god Im republican. Call me whatever u want Im a republican and proud of it.

  • reality is GOP is not a minority frindly party.

the core supporters are racist bigots.

have you seen Palins campaign stop videos? that is the core of the republican party.

  • brevardpoliticaljournal(dot)org / jackman.htm check it out.

  • LUV: Nathan Bedford Forrest was a Southern Democrat and founder of the KKK.

  • The Democratic party/its predecessors have been around since the birth of our nation. It was nearly destroyed during the earlier years of reconstruction, but it never was. There is no doubt in my mind that the Republican party will disappear eventually. To take their place a more liberal party than the democrats will take office and the democrats will be labeled as the conservatives. Both parties will end up trying to "buy" african american votes, something the republicans (my party) have not.

  • But you're still not addressing the issue at hand. The "Obama The Magic Negro" CD being circulated by the southern bigot who wants to lead the RNC drives my point home. That's the mindset of the Republican party today, and if they're not careful, they're going to wind up being a permanent minority party in this country. America will be even more racially diverse four years from now, and the Republicans are NOT likely to change anytime soon. They're speeding head first into irrelevance.

  • thats why i would have been a democrat if i lived back then. Lincoln was a tyrant, some even call him a dictator.
