Where is the counter and mime materia located

@fondare actually it doesn't take that long buddy, i did the exact same strategy from this video... made 8 mastered mimes and 16~ mastered counters (thanks to the crossroads cloning) in about 4-5 hours of pure triple growth swamp grinding. by the way this works beautifully, after the mimes are triggered you can pretty much grab your popcorn, sit back and enjoy the show, but not for long! that thing dies pretty fast! :D

What you need to do to beat Ruby is go into the battle with 1 person. Make sure you have w-item on. And all you need to do is keep using elixir and hero drink, and just let your guy counter. I had 19 mastered counters and it took me pretty quick

@CrashburnAlley nope! i only use cloud and cant mime his own limit break! but i killed emerald with my party barret yuffie.. :)) i cant kill ruby weapon!... :))

@kingjoms You can't mime another character's limit; you can only mime the character's own. I assume that's your problem. Otherwise, it should (read: has to) work. Make sure it was the last action done by a member of your party.

you cant mime a limit... i am currently playing in psx emulator... and i cant mime counter with my limit break...

@Canute87 Notice all the Counter then Mime materia. Counter uses the materia it's paired with to counter attack. In this case, its mime, which copies the last action done. Just use the limit break once, and you're pretty much set. I used the Hero drink too just because it raises a random stat by 20 just to help the process move along.
