bumbleblym shows you the best (and easiest) way to farm CP once you reach Gran Pulse.

Latest update:

Okay i've been getting a LOT of comments telling me i should have used A/B/C with X/Y/Z paradigms.

How about you try that with my stats and let me know how well you do?

How about i tell you to farm Long Gui because they offer the most CP? Never mind that you're too weak to.

This is hands down the most accessible farming method because all it requires is just Haste on Sazh. Up till this video, i have only fought battles for intel, or Treasure Spheres. So don't come in talking trash about how you can do better, unless you have a video that demonstrates that strategy, with my stats or lower, without any characters delving into secondary roles.

i thought this was plainly obvious when i showed my stats right at the start of the video.

End update.

Minimum requirements:

1. You should have a brain.
2. You should have put that brain to good use.
3. If you have put that brain to good use, Sazh should have Haste already.

In short, no one's ever 'too weak' to farm here. I got here by skipping more than half of my fights; I try to avoid fights except for Treasure Spheres and enemy intel.

Yes, there are 'better' methods. And 'better' spots.

But this is THE way to go when you've just reached Gran Pulse. The time you spend looking up 'better' methods and spots can be put to better use by simply using this virtually foolproof method.

Sure, you may have to retry every now and then at the beginning when using this method but after a few rounds of CP spending you should defeat these with ease.

So just come here when you reach Gran Pulse, max out your characters' primary roles (it'll take ~4 hours), and never look back.

My characters' stats:

Lightning w/ Gladius
Brawler's Wristband
Power Wristband

HP 1090
STR 300 (205 base + 95)
MAG 178 (165 base +13)

Vanille w/ Belladonna Wand
Shaman's Mark
Magician's Mark

HP 1160
STR 119 (114 base + 5)
MAG 231 (150 base + 81)

Sazh w/ Spica Defenders

HP 1265
STR 137 (131 base + 6)
MAG 131 (126 base + 15)

  • I am wondering if you would make another video that are ALREADY mastered of ATB-Level (which they get fifth ATB gauge at this point) and see if it's possible to kill Behemoth King before it gets transform? o__o I tried to copy what you did in battle but only the difference is that our ATB gauges... I mastered all everybody (except Vanille for without her Eidolon but gained fourth ATB gauge though)... Just curious is all! ^__^ Good job to show this up to see how can it get a lot of CP earlier. :)

  • @JachanShemale you're probably strong enough to swap out COM/RAV/SYN for RAV/RAV/SYN at the start.

  • Stats aren't an excuse for shitty strategy.

  • @nicolehasniceneos 118 people disagree with you :)

  • @KEVmuffins if you have atleast 2 jobs ( com/rav/syn/sab/sen/medic) are lvl4 and are maxed out. then you should be fine. or iff you wanna have an advantage for the next chapter max all the main jobs out. so you can save the points. afther those 2 beast. you should see a mob simulair to amber bellow. he is quite nasty iff you don't kill him first because he can summon allies.

  • i did this yesterday whit lightning whit about 800 + strengt XD ( lvl 9 brawler/lvl4/lvl4 ^^) and it is so easy just do rentless assault all the time if you have enough hp

  • ur health is very low

  • com/com/rav, com+rav kill behemot fast while second com keeps chain gauge high on other one

  • I found another way to stun him without making it transform...stagger it using 2 Saboteurs! This is especially useful if you have 5 ATB Gauges. If you keep on debuffing him in rapid succession, he'll stagger.

I use Fang, Vanille and Sazh and I use the Paradigm, Espionage (which is SAB-SAB-SYN). After he's staggered, switch to Relentless Assult and beat the life out of him. The other guy is a joke so don't worry about him.

  • @KrazyBean14 +1

  • He keeps on transforming...it's ticking me off!

  • how much do you think i should grind before going back to the story?

  • Can someone give me any tips with this? It was working fine but now my stats are higher and I have another ATB gauge on Light and Vanille I can't seem to stop the transformation just before he staggers. It's not the biggest of deals seeming I just kill him after he transforms anyway, but it definitely slows things down.

  • I like how you did that part on the end that was funny ^_^
