@marcomariaz26 03 cobra 3.55 gears go easy over 160 in 5th with a shorter .80 ratio than the camaro's .74

@marcomariaz26 That's that .74 5th gear ratio . There's an equation that will tell you the speed you get out of a gear with the rpm's. I seen a small cam ls1 6 speed do 122ish with 4.11's in fourth right at tac out , 6500 rpms. Watch---- 2000 Camaro SS 0-120 mph M6 4.11 Gears

@IDontHateOnCars 160 with 3.73's is impressive. LSx motors are beasts and that SS sounds like it came straight from hell itself... Lucifer would be proud... lol... Fastest car I've had so far was a 1986 5.0 - modded with 3.55's and ran low 13's, something these beasts can do granny shifting and with 1/2 gas no doubt... lol...

@marcomariaz26 I know for sure the cobra and vette do. The camaro has 3.73 's in the rear but will still break 160 in 5th.

@IDontHateOnCars Yes, stock gears. Do any of these cars have stock rear ends? I'm guessing they don't, so maybe would run out of steam before the normal top end, or does the extra HP make up the difference?

@marcomariaz26 All three will do over 160 in 5th gear with stock rear gears, and all three have the same 4th gear 1.00 ,I was originally meaning the cobra will do over 160 in 5th as you said it was about to run out of gear, he only got into 4th.The camaro and cobra have the exact same 1st -4th ,2.66, 1.78 , 1.30 ,and 1.00, 5th and 6th gear are different in each car. Cobra 5th .80 6th .63 (a lot better for accel),Camaro 5th .74 , 6th .50 (strictly o/d) vette 5th .84 6th .56(o/d)

@marcomariaz26 That Mustang can turn its .63 6th gear unlike the z06's .56 and camaros .50 , and 5th gear does over 160 so he wasn't running out of gear any time soon. That cobra only got into 4th. 1997 corvette did 169.
