@jakclarkstudios I see you're point but you have to remember it goes up to 9999 so people can effectively give as many engines as they like a unique decoder number. I cannot imagine anyone with 9999 engines but it does come in handy. Sure you can only control 10 engines at a time but the high number limit comes in handy due to each engine needing a unique number :)

The track is permanently live in DCC, and it's the job of the decoder in each loco to take digital commands JUST for that particulalr loco.
