The electromagnetic radiation, or EMF, from a laptop computer before and after HARApad (measured with a gauss meter).

Update: we have discontinued the line of products that only block 80% of the radiation. We are happy to announce the release of our HARApad Elite, which now blocks nearly 100% of the ELF magnetic field!

  • Thanks to all for checking out our videos, and for your comments/questions. Please be sure to check out our newest video for the HARApad Elite.

Our newest product actually blocks nearly 100% of the EMR! The 80% protection uses outdated technology that we dont even offer anymore. We are excited to offer the much more effective HARApad Elite - near 100% EMR protection!

  • what is the harapad made out of exactly? as in what materials are used to make the final product?

  • The outer layers of a HARApad are acrylic plastic, used for its high duarbility and glossy surface. The shielding is a high-tech material that attracts and conducts EMF. The material is a trade secret, but is safe for use, and contact with it has no adverse health effects.

  • Plywood will not help protect against the EMF radiation any more than an air gap that's the same thickness as the plywood. To protect from the EMF radiation, you need a highly conductive shielding material, which is what the HARApad uses.

  • This is a very good product but EMF comes from the keyboard to your hands and face so would be good to develop some kind of skin or protection against that.

    Cheers

  • What kind of EMF meter are you using? Does it take single or triple axis readings? Is it frequency weighted?

  • why can't I just put a plywood between my lap and the laptop ? wouldn't that do as well?
