This was originally seen [in color] in 1968, at the time Texaco sponsored several of Jack's NBC specials. "Rodney", the Texaco attendant, is indeed Dennis Day, Benny's "silly kid" tenor, and supporting cast member, on his radio and TV shows for over a quarter century.
