TDS meter actually measures electrical conductivity of water based on the ion content. These meters also do not detect macroscopic particulates, as those are too large to move in the electric fields applied. So if you see "rusty" looking water from iron oxide particulates, that won't be measured. Neither will anything else that makes the water look cloudy. Bacteria and viruses also won't be detected.

If you still think different, please tell me: Does water contain any vitamins?? These are needed for live as well as all other elements and minerals, isn't? Have you made any water chemical-bacteries analysis on a laboratory level?

My knowledge, apart from the one I have used now, is even more widen in terms of termodynamics, hydrobiology, medicine and dietetics.

I'm inviting to European Schools :) These filters are coming from the USA and have been invented in the 60' (that's the knowledge from history) and were used there in the 70' for the army and NASA.

Basic explanation. The murky goo (rust) you see is NOT coming from the water. It comes from the electrode during the oxidation process. Unfiltered water contain ions (the electrolytes we need in our body) that allow the reaction to take place since ion causes the electric to flow.

Just pour some salt (ions) in the distilled/clean water. You will get the same result.

My main message has to say, that water is a carrier, transporter and a solvent.

By the way, maybe you could explain the difference between osmotic and distilled water?

You're saying, that it should contain cations and anions needed to live. This is a false statement, because clean water should not contain anything.

@Archemedes01 you don't need inorganic minerals in your water. Period. You would have to drink a bathtub full to get a daily requirement.Eat your veggies, filter the fluoride poison OUT of your water.
