This is a promotional piece that glosses over the shameful treatment most riders had to endure. Unnecessary delays, dangerous conditions, a 2 hour wait on the BQE, and a shortened route for those who didn't cut in front of the line when stopped at the many many choke points. Oh, and the lack of food after 2pm. This an event that holds a lot of promise but fell far short of its goal.

agree with the first two comments. where is the footage of 1-2 hour waits on the BQE or cyclists walking the length of central park? this was my first and last 5 boro bike tour. the organization of the event was a travesty.

Is this guy kidding? Is this the 2011 tour they are all talking about? Visit Bike New York Facebook page...see what people are really saying. So where did all that money go??? Not for profit $80.00 ticket and they couldn't even keep the streets clear...C'mon!!!!
