Say Jay last night at the Van Wezal. He sang this song and I had to find it on YouTube. Great song. Great guy. Bought his CD after the show and he was very gracious and unassuming. I mentioned to him that the first time I ever saw him was at the New York Academy of Music way back in the early 70s. He responded that he remembered doing those shows with Gus Gossert, legendary DJ

I performed in a doo wop show with Jay Siegel in1996 and told him how i loved this song when I was a teenager. He helped me remember a line of lyrics that escaped my memory. He was very nice to speak with. not at all aloof
