  • I think it's pretty simple: a pro hits a fade and a draw and an amateur hits a hook or a slice ... I would love to have a Martin Kaymer Power-Fade

  • @gvolmer Thing is, I'd call the shots Kaymer hits a slice and a hook...

  • @LtDansGamertag You've not understood what I wrote. Please read the article at The Sand Trap called "Ball Flight Laws." It's very clear what I think, and little of it has to do with "on plane."

  • @LtDansGamertag Jack didn't actually do what he thought he was doing if that's an entirely accurate quote. Read up on the proper ball flight laws. Good draws are hit with a face pointing RIGHT of the target at impact. Good fades are hit with a clubface pointing LEFT of the target at impact.

  • The comments are a little too sarcastic for me...

  • i don't think they chose the right player for these examples, Martin Kaymer is a fader if the golf ball, no draw in his arsenal. As for the actual shots, woah! not so good.

  • maybe he was trying to exaggerate the "fade" and the "draw"?

  • Maybe his target was over there to the left?

    Not likely though.
