@medmar76 They didn't disappear. "Couldn't Get It Right" was 1976, "I Love You" was 1980. The latter song caused so much stress for the band internally that they eventually broke up, although they reunited later with a modified lineup.
Interesting how "Couldn't Get It Right" was credited to The Climax Blues Band, yet this one is The Climax Blues Band featuring Derek Holt. Kinda gives you an idea why the other members are so bitter about this otherwise beautiful piece.

@medmar76 I could see that. It has that Paul McCartney sound, the melody and the "hook" sound much like his band Wings. I'm surprised this band didn't have more hits actually.

I got married to my soulmate last year. This song fit us so well that I sang it to her at our reception. She had no idea I was gonna do that and everybody there broke out into tears! That was the highlight of my life, making her feel so special!!

A very special young lady sent me this song when I was 7 hours away from her in a differant country. This special woman I LOVE with ALL of my HEART.
I am immigrating to her COUNTRY to start a NEW LIFE with HER. She is everything to me. She is the ONE.
We are getting married when I am able to become a resident in her country. CANADA!! I left the Staets to be with her.
