@mistisafilam Ragsdale is 1000000X better than Steinhardt
-
@JonWRowe Yes! Very!
-
@mistisafilam: Sorry I'm a guitar player and a well educated gentlemen. I know what my ears tell me.
-
@JonWRowe Jon, You are full of crap! Robbie is better! If you played violin then you would know!
-
@mistisafilam: I love Robby. But, surely, you can't be serious.
-
@JonWRowe As a violinist with a good ear for music Robby Steinhardt is much better than both!
-
Sorry, meant around 3:30. It's really familiar.
-
What's that tune they play around 4:00?

You're welcome.

He sounds great here. One thing that kinda let me down about Robbie is you could tell he had virtuosic potentials and abilities, but never worked on his game and often let himself go. Guys like Ragsdale and Jerry Goodman are better violinists, but he could have been in their league.

I completely agree with you! In my last band we had a guy who played Keyboards, Rhythm guitar and electric violin. He was the same way, he was good at all those instruments but he never worked to get better. He was a good looking guy and all that he cared about was getting laid and getting high! On a different subject didn't you ask about a live version of "Bells of St. James"?

Yup I asked about Bells of St. James. Do you know where a live version is?

Hey Jon, I've gotten a hold of a copy of "Bells" from 1994. I believe it's with Bryan Holmes on drums and Rags on violin. I think the only original members on this are Walsh and Williams. I'm going to post it soon so I will shoot you a copy once I do.
