A test of the "Electro-Magic Bed" in a 1994 Safari Trek. The bed comes down out of the ceiling, leaving much more living area than most Class A motorhomes of such a short length.

  • I just saw one of these for the first time yesterday. That is an interesting space saving solution! I keep going back and forth as to whether I'd actually dig it or not. :D

  • @travelingoutskirts It's not for everybody. A Trek is really only for 2 people, usually. It's an oddball arrangement, making it possible to have all the living space of a 32 foot motorhome in only 24 feet.

  • Isuzu chassis Trek, got to be one of the best RV's on the planet. Loads of room inside a short RV due to the magic bed. 15 mpg makes it pretty attractive too.

This one is for sale here in our area.

  • We just bought one of these RV's! After much research, we determined that it's the perfect set-up for us - a couple traveling alone w/a dog. If/when the grown kids join us, we plan to rent them a cottage in the campground. This way everyone gets their comfort and privacy. :)

  • @mrblanche That's one thing I did like about it - so tiny! :)
