No matter how well you are trained to do your job we are all still human beings and can make mistakes from time to time. Unfortunately for the BART Officer, this mistake is tragic for him. However, you cannot train people to behave like a criminal so let us not make any excuses for Grant. Although he deserved a taser in his back and not a bullet, the lesson here is you are responsible for the outcome whatever your actions may be.
