Found this for free in front of the local Free Masons lodge. Does it contain the secrets of the Free Masons? Watch and find out... The system itself is an IBM XT clone from 1987.

  • You need to get a copy of MOVE or PARK to park the heads on those MFM and RLL drives when you go to turn them off and move them, they aren't autopark. BTW you said 42 gigabyte - it's megabyte on those LOL.

  • @rhblakeman Yes yes, I know! I used to have a parking utility, but cannot for the life of me locate it.

  • A part of me wants to see what's on the drive, but another part of me says erasing it to protect privacy of members is the right thing to do. Thumbs up to you, good sir. You've done a good deed.

  • @bettablue89115 I don't care if it's IBM, I really need any MS-DOS PC compatible.

  • It may not be an IBM, but what really matters is that you have it working. Did the display come with the computer too? If you still need copies of the parking utility, contact me. I'm sure I can hook you up.

  • @kriss3d Nah man, pretty much all IBM PCs and compatibles after the XT from '83 had a hard drive.

  • By the time this baby came out. There was no HDD so nothing should be on it. Whatsever on back then was on 5.25" discs.

  • 42 GB HDD?

  • @intelcore2duo43 Or you can back it up to floppy disks, like a REAL man.

  • @TeamRocketReviews That's why whenever you toss a computer, back up all of your data to either a CD or external FireWire/USB drive. If you want that data (for your new computer or for confidential reasons), you can easily transfer it over to your new machine.

  • @TeamRocketReviews lol your the one who makes no sense really to do the right thing dont erase the hard drive and if you do keep it then your an idiot make all sense

  • @BatCoil .... What you said just made NO SENSE WHATSOEVER.
