Oh WOW!!! I've never heard this version of Galveston - it is absolutely breathtaking! Glen's voice is so powerful and haunting! I have tears in my eyes as I write this. Glen Campbell is a living legend; I've loved him for years and always will!

This might be Glen's best performance ever and I'm quickly becoming addicted to this awesome version of a great song. Glen and Jimmy together is almost too much talent for one stage to hold! Does anyone know if this is available on DVD or even CD??

This is so much better than the shitty, poppy, bouncy, top 10 version that there's no comparison. Worst song Campbell ever recorded. I had no clue(from the top 10 version) that this song was about a US soldier on the front lines in Viet Nam. Then, one day at a fellow musician's house, he put on the Ten Easy Pieces LP by Jimmy Webb. I was moved beyond tears. What a fantastic song this is. This is the way Campbell should've done it in the first place.
