Atlantic Food Excursion [Saturday, July 30, 2011]

The traveling duo awakens in a small Bates Motel-style inn in Carney's Point, New Jersey and heads to a local frozen custard stand for breakfast. They jump on the freeway and zoom their way through Delaware, Maryland, and into Washington D.C. to meet a couple wonderful cousins for lunch at Ben's Chili Bowl--a Washington D.C. hotspot that serves chili dogs, chili burgers, chili smokes, and chili bowls. After an afternoon of sightseeing with family, the pair departs even further south and lands for the night in Pleasant Hill, North Carolina.
