Our ground troops were hard at work. I want to thank all of you, from the Heritage Foundation to talk radio leaders to bloggers to the thousands of conservative activists who poured through every square inch of this bill to expose just a few of the ridiculous items in this bill.
Here are some of the more outrageous items included in this massive spending bill already to have been exposed:

Funny how debt only counts when it's caused by government spending and not tax cuts. He's a good speaker, I'll give him that.

It's like quicksand...the more you fight the deeper you sink. Any spending is better than no spending.

I, too, am proud to be an Okie. Although my judgment on picking the right spouse was clearly lacking, I can say proudly that I voted for Senator Inhofe in every election. He, along with Senator Tom Coburn who is also from Oklahoma, have no qualms about standing up for what they believe is right even when it may be politically unpopular. I only wish there were more like them in office.
