I was so afraid that Kirby's fast smash attacks would shut me down - luckily Ness' mid-range attacks and using hit-and-run tactics let me stay safe from his smashes for the most part. I felt kinda bad playing really safe, but you can't mess around against Kirby on that level or you bounce off a wall and lose at 50%

Congrats, Gary. Your fluency with Ness was outstanding. I remember thinking "holy shit, Gary" a few times in this match; especially with the horizontal PK fires.

wooow watching this again I abused the hell out of my PK Fire, although some of them are pretty nice ;)

I've said it before, Ness just flows like butter if you're conscious of which moves you're doing when, because he has quite a few KO moves that all become more viable as your opponent gets higher %. And if you've failed to kill them by 120%, auto KO with a back throw from anywhere XD
