  • I wonder what makes a person think of themselves as garbage to live in garbage?

  • Hoarding? Fuck that shit!

I would just demolish the house. The house and its contents to the dump. Then I'd have 20ft of dirt underneath removed and sent to the dump.

  • @enlightenthemass

That's not necessarily true; Hoarders aren't just collectors. It's a mental disorder in which the person can't distinguish between items that serve a purpose and items that serve no purpose other then to fill a void in this person's life, so much so that some hoarders can't even throw away their own trash or food.

I have to agree somewhat with the person who posted this video. Trash and other accumulation can create damage to the house itself.

  • Well this person is not a hoarder, they are simply put slobs. Horders have collections of the same item. i e 150 shoes. I STRONGLY disagree that there should be any laws made. If some one wants to live this way its their right to do so. It does not matter if you don't like it. What you suggest is Nazi-ish to say the least. *A task force* are you kidding. Why do you hate freedom and liberty?

  • I understand hoarding is a disease but WTF!!! I think hoarding is a danger to the person affected as well as people living in homes around them. It can start fires and make people sick and even result in death. Hoarders need to be held accountable for this regardless of the illness because others can be hurt. They should be made to live in a rehab center until they are well and then be checked up on monthly when back in society. It's just rediculous IMO.

  • Wow...just wow!! A serious psychiatric issue....so sad. But it can be helped w/ psychotherapy & cognitive behavior therapy, if one is willing to do so.

  • you said "dumping loads"
