Dielectrophoretic (DEP) separation of red fluorescent 40nm nanoparticles from 10um nonfluorescent spheres. The video is mostly taken in bright field and shows the motion of 10um spheres to the DEP low field regions in between the electrodes. At the end, the microscope is switched to red fluorescence view, and it can be seen that the 40nm nanoparticles are concentrating on the DEP high field regions directly on the electrodes.

  • Thank you very much for posting this. Very clean video and a good summation in the about section. Awesome work being done. Wish I was still involved with tech like I used to be as there are some very revolutionary concepts coming to reality in a fully functional ability. Potential is enormous. Good luck in application development.
