The count is available for all to see. It ended 257-159 for the ayes, it was probably apparent to all even before the vote was taken. Yes, the ayes sounded louder but that might be a case of microphone placement or some of the nays being louder than the others.

When will the American people realize what disingenuous charlatans the Republicans are? Someone else noted in this thread "The Republicans crapped all over the Constitution the first day." And backpedaled, and changed their rules, and kept secrets. The Republicans don't care about anything except themselves, their rich masters and taking more money out of our pockets and into thiers.
And shame on all the Democrats whose feelings were hurt and didn't vote. Happy now?
