Possibly the most powerful and interesting scene in the whole movie. This is strange because Madsen comes off very brutish, and yet here he functions as a sort of conscience. Very subtle.

Madsen's character sticks out in this movie, as he pretty much does with any role. He's a fantastic actor. It's not often that a guy can do both mainstream and indie films, and still be so cool like Madsen!

The background music is Dies Irae from Nora Orlandi

why wouldn't you have the whole scene?.. or at least the whole statement of bud... Great scene, but your upload is a FAIL.
-
song is called DIES IRAE from nora orlandi
dies irae = days of anger
-
going by the expression of david carradine when madsen speaks hes like " god this madsen fella can act" .

@Lightzrave I think he was actually the most sympathetic and noble character
in the movie. Up until the moment he makes a deal with the devil and goes
for the cash grab with Elle.
Still, everything he did to the bride he did out of love for his brother. Love his character. Really love it.

Love this side scene of Michael Madsen (before it cuts away to the front scene). It's prophetic & philosophical, plus his profile with the cowboy hat is one of the most powerful miniscenes I've ever scene.
I couldn't tell you what the music is in the background is, I know it's not on the soundtrack, but that's about it.
