Pacific Ocean Coho & Crab Fishing Tillamook Bay Oregon Sept 2011

This was one heck of a fishing and crabing adventure with my Brother, Ron & his son Tyler. The first 3 hours of fishing were very slow and the conditions on the water were rough. The 5-6 foot swells were starting to take a toll on us all. Then all of the sudden we got into a fish! Not long after that all three of our rods went off at the same time! We passed through a huge school of enormous Coho Salmon! Triple hook up and all three fish in the boat! Surprising that we did not have one line tangle. The fishing stayed hot for about an hour then we ended the day by pulling in the 6 crab pots that had been soaking for about 7 hours. Every Pot we pulled in had huge males and we ended up with out limit of 36 Dungeness Crab! We did all of this right off shore in front of Rockaway Beach. Thank you Ron & Tyler for the great time and the Pacific Ocean adventure!
