Jura Podnieka studijas dokumentālās filmas "Vai viegli...?" treileris.
Anrijs Krenbergs u.c.

  • Actually there are available versions with English subtitles of all three parts. This is just the Latvian trailer. If you are interested to buy them, just write an e-mail to jps@jps.lv and we will discuss further details.

  • I would be also happy to show this film -both the 1986 and the follow-up version to my child as this would give them a better idea about their parents' generation and about themselves too. But once again - THE LINGUISTIC OBSTACLE!!!!

Please, this film is not just Latvian - it's been part of the history of Eastern Europe!

It belongs to all of us - the 1986 version, and it would be extremely interesting how differently or similarly the former socialist countries fared after 1989!!!!!

  • Don't Latvians understand that without a common English (as Russian used to be back in time), they are losing a huge international audience? I am Bulgarian and part of the generation depicted in the film. When I first saw the film in 1987, I cried in the streets on my way home. I want to know what has happened to those young people (my peers) in the film, but if there are no English subtitles, how could I???? And how could all the rest of us, having lived and breathed through it in the soc. age?

  • Paldies "komandai" par šo turpinājumu! Kolosāls darbs!
