An artificial horizon and compass made with Processing. Its only responding to mouse movements at the moment, but will eventually be fed data from gyros connected to an Arduino. Feel free to send me a message including your email and I will send you a copy of the code.

Code updated to version 2. Includes more comments explaining how the code works, and some optimization which reduced the overall number of lines of code. Also, better overall organization.

  • Jimmy I would appreciate it if you could send me your source code. This is the same thing I'm starting on now. I've already got arduino code for gyro's if you want to swap.

  • @sapperific. I will be glad to swap code with you. Just give me an email I can send my code to.

  • Looks great, any plans to make the source code available?

  • @bisonynp If you wish, I can email you the code. I have done so for others that have asked. I must warn you that my coding abilities are amateur at best so its not at all optimized and could use some improvement.

  • Hello, I am creating an artificial horizon project with arduino + accelerometer + flash, I managed to turn a imagm in x and y axis, but I can not raise the image up or down, you could help me by sending your code to compare with mine. I send to you all the files in my project if you want. My email ontreus@ig.com.br

  • Hey Bro, this is dope, I just wired up a dual axis gyro with an accelerometer, and as soon as i get the Kalman working I'm going to try to hook it up to a TFT serial interface LCD and run an artificial horizon output and go portable arduino style... could you hook me up with your source code, and any extra info you think might help? I'll be sure to acknowledge you in my research. Thanks in advance. Jordan. Herogravity at gmail... Cheers.
