Everyone knows that in communism (just like in times of war)those living in the country suffered LESS coz they COULD farm-And communist Russia denied food but had plenty of LAWS isnt America becoming more communist with these laws? not allowing private production??

What can the big farmer do better than the gardener to prevent e-coli?

You ...cant find a reason why corporations will benefit?? Sell their OWN products(seeds etc)for start. Controling production-second.Which leads to increasing gains (since u control product availability)If each grows his ORGANIC garden...whats their job?above all a more self sustained person is less fearfull=less easy2b controlled

@MusikAndLuv no, we are not starving... yet ... it is a real possibility with the laws being put in place that the future may be very different than it is now... i am answering your questions respectfully because you are speaking to the issue, but i must say when people have channels that are "not available" it makes me wonder about them... you of all people should know what a gov (corps) are capable of...

@demmmmm1 I tried to explain to this well meaning gentleman what it is really like to live in a country where they deny food to the population for military reasons. I let him know how good we have it here, and even though these bills might be corrupt, they are not what people think they are. I lived with no regulations, and you know what, it was awful, disease, children dying, and in a constant state of malnutrition. The problem is spoiled people who dont know what hardship really is.

@skybirdbird I grew up in a country with no food regulation, and people grew their own food because there was no infrastructure or agriculture to support the population. Disease was rampant. Standards in food purity is what makes the US a special place to live, it is the reason we were able to win wars and defeat theats to world safety, and people who have never lived with starvation do not know how good they have it and misread laws that are there to protect them. Tell me, are you starving?
