Defending the NPS for following orders makes you a fool. Of the NPS hadn't sat on its ass an not developed a plan for 38 years they couldn't have been sued by Audubon and we wouldn't be in the mess. By the way I was in DC this morning successfully lobbying to reopen the beach. You're welcome.

All the parks seem to have been training park service people to act as cops and basicly become tax farmers for their respective agency. Also, have you had to pay to get into a national park lately?? With corporate government, you have to wonder who owns these parks??

The National Park Service is retarded! I was camping at a pre-existing campsite in Allegheny NF one time,and they gave one of us a ticket for camping within 100 feet of the reservoir,which was bullshise. So this was in Pennsylvania and my friend was a military veteran from Kentucky, he decides not to pay the $100 fine. They start sending threatening letters to his house and he replies all proper, ie "stop wasting paper". He ends up with a job in the Grand Tetons a couple years later and they-

Okay, I must say. I am on your side. There is no use in you and me yelling about what the issues are. I am very well aware of what is going on there, especially having grown up and lived there.
