Salvador Dali: Liquid Desire exhibition opens in Melbourne

The largest exhibition of Salvador Dali works ever to be seen in Australia has opened in Melbourne.

The exhibition, exclusive to the National Gallery of Victoria, contains works from specialist Dali museums in Spain and the USA - the two largest Salvador Dali collections in the world.

The exhibition, entitled Salvador Dali: Liquid Desire, is part of Melbourne Winter Masterpieces along with A Day In Pompeii at the Melbourne Museum.

It runs at the NGV from 13 June to 4 October, 2009.

My Besie Mate has just been to see it and I cant wait for her to tell me all about it. I have only been fortunate enough to see one of Dali's Masterpieces, this must be like "Dying and Going to Heaven" lol

Seen Christ of St John of the Cross in Glasgow - Totally blew me away - Amazing Image - Love Dali, hope the people of Australia appreciate how lucky they are to have this Genius's work on show.
