Once again, Welcome Audience! This is my 63rd Falconer Lyric Video!

Today we have a treat indeed! It is part ten of The Sceptre Of Deception, the last part, and this song is sung completely by Mathias Blad! YAY! lol It is short but great.

Here is the introduction to this song, and also I am including the Epilogue:

****
As Birger had seen to that the prison door was sealed he threw the key into the river that flowed by the castle just as a final demonstration to himself that this was the end of this problem.
That would soon appear as a grave miscalculation. The dukes' minions and allies soon gathered forces to march towards the castle, only to free two corpses. The royal forces had to give up the fight after hours of battle, thus abandoning the castle. Meanwhile, the crown prince Magnus hired mercenary troops in Denmark to come and aid hid father. As soon as he set foot on Swedish soil he was surprised by the current situation and he was soon surrounded and captured.
Father and son did a rochade as Birger just had fled to Denmark, all his advisors and close men were captured and executed. The king was in exile the crown prince imprisoned and all leading hands of yesterday dead. The aristocracy had to act fast but confirm to quell the boiling state the land was in. They called chief judges, bishops and one man from all Estates to Mora meadows where kings for ages had been elected. This way none would feel left out. The chosen one this time was Magnus Eriksson, the late Erik's son.

EPILOGUE
In a prison cell in Stockholm the former crown prince now received the tidings. He had stood on that very stone himself in the middle of the meadow as a four year old. Now he was one potential pretender too much. He had been involved in neither his uncles' death nor his father's coup d'êtat so to him he was an innocent man. None the less, the execution was a political necessity to not risk history to repeat itself. As his exiled father heard of the fate his son had met he was so weighed down by grief that he had to be laid in bed, never to rise as the chronicles say.
