"Don't leave your home. Because you know what? When those companies say they have your mortgage, unless you have a lawyer that can put his or her finger on that mortgage, you don't have that mortgage, and you are going to find they can't find the paper up there on Wall Street. So I say to the American people, you be squatters in your own homes. Don't you leave. In Ohio and Michigan and Indiana and Illinois and all these other places our people are being treated like chattel, and this Congress is stymied." -- Rep. Marcy Kaptur, 'Capitalism: A Love Story'

"On behalf of this family and this community, we liberate this home for this family. Cut the sign down!" -- Max Rameau, 'Capitalism: A Love Story'

"... sometimes revolutions begin in unlikely places." -- Michael Moore, 'Capitalism: A Love Story'

I use to agree with you until I did more research and realized that the majority of people dont take out loans for ridiculous things or loans that they couldnt normally pay back over time, but the interest and hidden(in contract terms that even well educated people dont understand)fees end up being a lot more then they can afford. A lot of people who have their homes foreclosed on them are making payment, but they are barely covering the interest and can never get out of the hole.

Why is it right for banks to give out loans they know the person will be unable to payback?

People like this should be set on fire in their shitty home. "We have no where else to go" Maybe you should of thought of that before buying a home you cant afford and having a shit ton of useless kids. People like this bring the fuckin country down and all they do is point fingers and blame everybody else and expect handouts. Worthless piece of shit niggers.

Thats fine but why did the US government bail the banks out when the morttgages %25 of them defaulted and the banks could not sell or fix the problem. And the US government bailed them out. Why not put the banks in liquidation for .10 cents on the dollar to people who could readjust the mortgages? ( hint if you have a 20 year mortgage and you pay $500,000 for a $100,000 house? Did you not pay the morgage? The bible talks about debt forgiveness every so many years. Now this house is wrecked)

why do people think it is okay to take out a mortgage and not pay the mortgage then complain that the bank took the house, saying the people from the bank are the bad guys. Then Blame it on Wall Street when it is really the people who did not pay their mortgages are the reason why we are in a bad economy. People on Wall Street are not only the people who are greedy. (hint the people who buy things they cant afford) Hint (some of those people didn't pay their mortgage)

I have no problem with Michael Moore owning his mansion and making films for profit (even though I scratch my head at why people would watch them). If I was a respectable leftist with a conviction to my beliefs, I would find his contradictory nature hilarious. What may be worse than a bureaucrat causing poverty is a man who pedals himself as a hero of the downtrodden masses when really he is just feeding off of other people's anger. That's not production- it's destruction.

Argument won by a libertarian down here and no thumbs up for him? I know this is a clip from a Michael Moore film but still, bow when you lose!

That's probably not true. Cause if people were greedy they would make a situation in which anyone above them was taken down to their level. It is a suggested form of mutualist anarchism in which equilibrium is forced through perpetual threat of violence.

But the problem, perhaps one could say is that all people are NOT greedy. And the few greedy, in every system, exploit the masses.
