"Don't leave your home. Because you know what? When those companies say they have your mortgage, unless you have a lawyer that can put his or her finger on that mortgage, you don't have that mortgage, and you are going to find they can't find the paper up there on Wall Street. So I say to the American people, you be squatters in your own homes. Don't you leave. In Ohio and Michigan and Indiana and Illinois and all these other places our people are being treated like chattel, and this Congress is stymied." -- Rep. Marcy Kaptur, 'Capitalism: A Love Story'

"On behalf of this family and this community, we liberate this home for this family. Cut the sign down!" -- Max Rameau, 'Capitalism: A Love Story'

"... sometimes revolutions begin in unlikely places." -- Michael Moore, 'Capitalism: A Love Story'

  • International call out for the people to take the power back, say no to repression, tyranny, and supression, keep the faith, save your people

  • @AfricanWoolf I use to agree with you until I did more research and realized that the majority of people dont take out loans for ridiculous things or loans that they couldnt normally pay back over time, but the interest and hidden(in contract terms that even well educated people dont understand)fees end up being a lot more then they can afford. A lot of people who have their homes foreclosed on them are making payment, but they are barely covering the interest and can never get out of the hole.

  • @lysykolo you truely are a douchebag without other views than money and yourself

  • thats beautiful and gives me hope for the future

  • @lysykolo lol, this is freedom? having your house taken by a banker? fuck bankers! bunch of fat lazy stealing cunts. it's not economic freedom if the banks already own everything

  • FUCK SOCIALISM, LOVE FEEDOM

    better dead than red!

  • Does Moore expect the twenty yelling people and the camera crew on the front lawn not to attract police? He puts such a spin on things. Does he prefer we give away houses for free? Who needs hard work and determination, let's just ask Mr. Moore to fix all of our problems.

  • @slapshot445: Then everybody would have a place to live, and we WOULDN'T NEED LOANS. You favor the disease over the cure, it seems. Have you ever lived in a "poor" community? Seen how people take care of each other?

I have, and those "poor" people were friendlier, happier and healthier than the majority of city-dwellers I've seen.

  • @pastoh1: And that's where you're wrong. Houses and properties belong to local communities who by natural right can and should use them to meet their needs. We don't care what some asshole banker thousands of miles away screams as he waves his immaterial slip of paper.

    People > Profits

  • @22sheilamahon

Actually, it was sarcasm not idiocy. Idiocy is not paying for a house you are living in and then thinking that because you live in it that it is yours. The house belongs to the bank, and while I'm not defending the policies the bank uses for foreclosure, we can't lose sight of the fact that the house does belong to the bank and if the people who were living in it were evicted it was done through legal means. Where was the footage of them not paying for how many months?

  • Just imagine people...what if nobody paid their mortgage and everybody just stayed in their own home, sounds great huh? NO! Banks wouldn't be able to make loans to anybody because they would know nobody would pay, our entire economic system as we know it would self destruct. I'm all for being humane, but what Moore is suggesting is ridiculous and flat out not reasonable.

  • @XGDRabidPanda you are a lying fool. The Dems are the ONLY ones that haveprovided for the middle class for oover the last 60+ years. the repukes are the ones that have fought tooth and nail to steal from the middle class and push us into poverty. Stop lying
