Next Friday is the soundtrack to the 2000 comedy film, Next Friday. It was released on December 7, 1999 through Priority Records and consisted of hip hop and R&B music. The album was not as successful as it's multi-platinum successor, but it still managed to find success on the charts, making it to 19 on the Billboard 200 and 5 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. It also spawned several singles, Ice Cube's "You Can Do It", Aaliyah's I Don't Wanna, Wyclef Jean's "Low Income" and the reunited N.W.A's Chin Check.
