The Nissan Pivo 2 is an environmentally friendly, electric concept car which combines cutting edge technologies with user friendly innovations and a Robotic Agent creating a fundamental shift in the relationship between vehicle and driver. Building on the first Pivo concept car, displayed in 2005, which had a rotating cabin eliminating the need for reversing, the Nissan Pivo 2, adds rotating wheels to make parallel parking or parking in congested streets a simple process of driving straight into the parking spot. The robotic agent infers the drivers mood through the use of facial monitoring software and conversation, and is programmed to cheer up or soothe the driver, depending on the situation. By using independent, high powered, disc-shaped motors to power all four wheels, the Pivo 2 has a more spacious interior. The layout of the interior places the driver in front, with the instrument panel and steering wheel integrated into the front door, with lounge chair like passenger seats enabling comfortable seating for three occupants.

  • That shit is so cute I wouldn't doubt to drive it- and I'm a guy :)

  • ok i totaly want one!!!!! this car looks like its gonna be the shit later........

  • "the relation between the driver and the locator becomes very intimit." I think someone is watching a little too much anime robot porn

  • i want to buy it!

  • that front reminds me of the bmw isetta

  • What the f*** is this thing?

  • if you need somebody to try it in the funny street of italy...i want one of thes

  • that thing probably cudnt go through an inch of snow or any rain

  • I wonder if it turns without having to turn the whole cabin then the wheels. It probably does but if it doesn't don't you think it would cause some problems? Lets say your trying to take a left hand turn on a four way street. You would have to pull out, move the cabin, then the wheels, then drive off. Never mind stupid question it must turn!

  • If you need someone to test it in Canada, I'll be happy to help out.

  • Just Like windows vista :D Sometimes you have to restart the car after it has crached ;D

  • PIVO-KUN!! you are cute like your sibling PaPeRo

  • hahha i mean that car is so nice i would love to drive it like anywhere

i wasnt trying to be rude or anything

    sorry about that!

  • Gee, thanks.

  • you are dumb!

  • i want one...... :D

  • This looks very safe, but its way too embarrassing to go out in one of these.
