"We Must" A tribute video: Help build affordable Housing for Women Veterans, Veterans First,Ltd

There are too many women veterans returning from war without affordable safe places to live. This video highlights the efforts in Phoenix, Arizona to renovate affordable housing for women veterans. Mary Ellen's Place is profiled and renovation of a new 8 unit apartment complex for women veterans with children, Sallie's Place, has begun and is seeking donations and volunteers. In every town and city, there are women vets with few choices for safe and affordable housing. Thanks for your comments. We do hope to make it a national effort and are also planning a series of short documentaries about women veterans. We have many WWII women veterans here in Arizona and want to capture their stories . We are seeking sponsors for that effort as well.

What a great initiative to assist returning female veterans with rejoining their lives!  Affordable housing in a comfortable environment would really help the adjustment back to their home lives. The success of this project really needs to be shared all over the country!
