Wolf Blitzer Grills Kathleen Sebelius On Healthcare

On "State of the Union", Health and Human Services secretary Kathleen Sebelius could not give Wolf Blitzer (in for John King) straight answers about President Obama's healthcare plan, Charles Rangel's proposal, or the possibility of public option competing with private insurance.

In fact, at one point, he tells her, "Be precise."

At the end, Wolf moves on to the swine flu, and Sebelius immediately wants him to call it "H1N1".

4:49 - a public option (code word for government run healthcare) does exactly the opposite of creating competition and choice. The government wastes money; it doesn't use it productively because it is not their personal money, nor will they personally use what they buy with it. The "choice" will ultimately be taken away once the trigger mechanism is activated by purposely being set far above what free market conditions can meet.

One of many questions that need to be answered but won't. Everything is behind closed doors for a reason. If people can't afford health insurance, how will they afford the mandate plus the fines? Not to mention that now we learn that it still will leave anywhere from 14 to 30 million still uninsured. Its insanity!
