EDIT 10/15/2009

QUESTIONS CLOSED! I will not be accepting any more questions at the moment. Please wait for another video like this. :) There will be one once a month starting again in November of 2009!!!

I'm offering to answer any questions in a video from this day on.

The reason for the title is that I had three messages saying almost the exact same text. There were a lot of nice messages with the same question, but I've gotten this type of question like crazyyy lol

  • Thank god I'm not the only one to practice Japanese by having a little conversation by myself. I'm still at the level where I can't make really long sentences but I am hoping it will be conversational by the time I will go back to Japan :)!

  • haha, you don't lose get rusty in English in a couple of weeks. it takes years and years to get rusty, that being said, your Japanese is excellent and I commend you deeply. i struggle with Japanese still and am nowhere near your level, and I live in Japan.

  • Lose the hat honey!

  • whats the name of the song she mentioned that had convo in it? I tried searching it but couldn't find it, or maybe I heard wrong

  • u are amazing. i talk to myself on the phone, too. but i dont know it could work so great. i will keep practicing. thank you for the video. it gives me the confident about keep learning JPNS :)

  • @PUAPrivateArchive at least she knows the language fluently unlike A LOT of weeaboos.

  • that's a good analogy -- if you want to do a jigsaw, then you can learn about how to do a jigsaw for as long as you like, but if all the pieces aren't understandable then you're screwed, no matter how many other people you see doing jigsaws. But, if you know what

  • the words mean, then by seeing people put those pieces together, eventually you' know how to do it too :)

and btw, you have already done something amazing -- you are doing this video in English, can think in english, swear in english, and speak a foreign language fluently. That's amazing :)

  • Hey, thanks so much for the advice! I've actually written it down and intend to follow it. I lived in tokyo, and have half-assedly learned japanese to a conversational-ish level, but stayed basically at the same level for like 10 years.. obviously I want to improve. Im about to start a year of intensive self-study, But living in a small canadian town with 2 kids and no japanese contacts, I need advice from someone who has suceeded. Thank you so much for sharing in detail like that. thanks.

  • @jinxy070 Me too. ;_; But we have Chinese, so I'm taking that. Then i'll at least learn some kanji.

  • じょうずだね!
