It's definitly not in 1984 because Rod wasn't with Alana Stewart but with Kelly Emberg in 84'..... And I'm sure  it was in 1980 because the R.S Band were formed by Carmine Appice on the drums (in 1981 it was Tony Brock) and Gary Grainger on solo guitar (in 1981 it was Wally Stocker and Robin Le Mesurier)

I was watching this, on my old-fashioned video player the other night, for the umpteenth time. When it was first broadcast, I was in my early 20's and working as an industrial machinist for my father. It was a welcome distraction during the lunch period !
