@BigFootIsABum Well the way I got hired was that all I did was apply to the company. All you need is grade 12 education here in Canada to work at CP Rail. Same as if you would apply to them down in the southeastern states. They do all hands on training after you get hired. If you never need to know more, just private message me on here.
@johnnymolson What skills do you need for this kinda job? Do you have to be good at math or anything else? And how different is this to a switchman? I was just wondering It seems like a good job, but don't know all facts and not much on internet about it. Hope for a reply,Thanks!
wow im english and over here we normaly take out the sleepers by hand and use ballest tampers (cobraTT) i hope america dont do that for ever little bit lol lazyyyy
Ive worked at CP Rail for 5 years and I LOVE it. Only downside is that Im away from home 4 days and sometimes have to travel 9 hrs each way back and forth to work
